If you have a Park View Credit Union account (Preferred): 
The church is not charged a transaction fee. With the new system at Park View Federal Credit Union, you can make contributions to the church by going to “Move Money”, then click on “Donations”.  Next choose the account you want the money to come from, or you can make an anonymous gift by checking the box underneath.  Next, click on the box “Donation to” and choose Harrisonburg Mennonite Church in the drop-down menu.  In the box under “Donation Frequency”, you can choose how often you want to donate.  There are numerous options listed, including a one-time gift, weekly, monthly, etc.  Then enter the amount of the gift.  If you want to designate a specific project, enter on the memo line where you want the money to go (Giving Plan, Building debt reduction, VBS, etc.).  If the memo line is left blank, the money will go to the Giving Plan.  If you already have automatic withdrawals scheduled with Park View, you do not need to change anything.  They will continue as they are. 

Financial Institution Distribution (Preferred): Many financial institutions will set up gift giving for you from IRAs or other accounts. Please make sure you let us know or have the institution state who it is coming from so we know who should receive credit for the donation.

PayPal:  Go online and donate through PayPal.  You can designate where you want the gift used (Giving Plan, Building Fund, etc.)  The church is charged a transaction fee through PayPal.

Harrisonburg Mennonite Church’s website:  Go to Harrisonburgmennonite.org, scroll to the bottom of the home page and click on the donate button.  This donation is made through PayPal, so church is charged a transaction fee.

Vanco:  The church has an account with Vanco Payment Solutions.  You can download an app to your smart phone or tablet to donate.  The app is called GivePlus+ for your smart phone.  After installing the app, search for Harrisonburg Mennonite Church and follow the in-app prompts to set up an account. The church is charged a transaction fee. Vanco’s monthly report is compatible with HMC’s accounting software and reduces the possibility of recording mistakes.
