Music Ministry

Tara Davis,
Director of Music, 1st service & Adult Choir

Harrisonburg Mennonite Church loves music!  We have many ways in which music is incorporated in the services and church.  Our first service uses more traditional hymns while our second service uses more contemporary Christian music.  Either way, we love to sing!  During the fall and spring, we have choir practice on Wednesday evenings.

8:30 a.m. Service

In our 8:30 a.m. service you will find worship that is rooted in our Mennonite heritage. Oriented towards breaking open the Word, this service includes a variety of music, often sung in four parts.

11:00 a.m. Service

In our 11:00 a.m. service you will find worship that is rooted in an Anabaptist way of being, Oriented towards interactive response to God and scripture, this informal service is led by our worship team.
