Music Ministry

Benjamin Bergey, Director of Music

Harrisonburg Mennonite Church loves music!  We have many ways in which music is incorporated in the services and church.  Our Sanctuary service uses more traditional hymns while our Praise service uses more contemporary Christian music.  Either way, we love to sing!  During the fall, we have choir practice on Wednesday evenings.

Sanctuary Service - 8:30 a.m.

In our Sanctuary Service (8:30 AM), you will find worship that is rooted in our Mennonite heritage. Oriented towards breaking open the Word, this service includes a variety of music,

often sung in four parts.

Praise Service - 11:00 a.m.

In our Praise Service (11:00 AM), you will find worship that is rooted in an Anabaptist way of being, Oriented towards interactive response to God and scripture,

this informal service is led by our worship team.
