HMC supports missions and missionaries throughout the world and in our own community.  Listed below are several different organizations that we engage with and support.

Mennonite Central Committee - A global, nonprofit organization that strives to share God’s love and compassion for all through relief, development and peace.  The Virginia Mennonite Relief Sale is held here in Harrisonburg to raise funds for MCC and is celebrating 50 years this fall!

Mennonite Disaster Service - A volunteer network of Anabaptist churches responding in Christian love to those affected by disasters in Canada and the United States.  To the right are some pictures of a recent trip some HMC members took to White Sulfur Springs to help with flood damage repair.
Homes and Hope for Kentucky is long-term disaster relief for Mayfield and Graves County in Kentucky. Click here to watch a video from MDS on this work.

Mennonite Mission Network -  Supports and connects mission work throughout the world.

Harrisonburg Mennonite Church has been founded on an outreach to local children and families.  We do this in a variety of ways like our children's Sunday School, Wednesday night Venture Clubs and much more.

Pray for the volunteers and children who participate in this outreach to our community and church family.

HMC also has a group that travels to Philadelphia each summer to do service work at Cornerstone Academy. Contact James Blakely or Mark Keller to find out how you can be involved.
